Project Timeline
Prior to starting your project, please move any items around the exterior of the home that may get damaged. Our crew will cover the perimeter around your property as best as possible, but we will need you to kindly remove anything that could be damaged by falling debris.
Prepare your driveway by removing any vehicles prior to our disposal staging.
Before the Project Begins
Disposal Staging for Job Cleanliness
An orange container or a trailer will be staged on your property one day before the project starts. This will be set up in your driveway or other accessible space. Please do not dispose of any trash in the bin for recycling purposes.
The first day of your project will be dedicated to removing the old roofing material. This will be the messiest day of work.
Your permit card will also be posted during this time. Please do not remove the permit card at any time, it must be visible for the duration of the project for the city and city inspector.
Day 1: Tear Off
Will be comprised of carpentry, inspection prep, and material loading. Please be prepared to take care of your material payment at this time.
At this point, if you would like any cosmetic wood replacement, please let us know.
Once we have completed the carpentry and set up our ladder, the city inspector will stop by to sign off on the inspection card.
Once the sheathing has passed, our crew will be back on site to start installing. Your installation can take up to 1 to 3 days, depending on the roof size and complexity.
Days 2 & 3
Site cleanup.
Debris container will be picked up.
Final walk-through with your project manager.
Final payment will be collected, please make arrangements prior.
Final inspection scheduled. A ladder will be set up for the city inspector.
If your jurisdiction requires smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, please take care of these items prior to the final inspection. If your jurisdiction allows you to complete a waiver, we will post a copy of it along with your permit card upon the start date. Please sign off on the appropriate areas and place it back into the sleeve where the permit card is located.
Following Installation Completion
We will set up a ladder and schedule the final inspection for the city inspector to sign off on the completion of the roof.
